Canyon View Dining Hall at 680 Bollinger Canyon Way, San Ramon, California.

Just had my wedding here 3/10/18. My wife and I were planning and planning and planning to try to make this the most perfect wedding that she wanted. We were so lucky that it didn't rain as it rained the week before and now days after, but it was overcast so there wasn't that much sun. It cleared up a little at the end letting us get some beautiful sunset pictures. The hall was big enough to fit our 250 guests plus more if you needed more. It has a space just for the photo booth area which is awesome since we didn't have to figure out where to put them. There is a fireplace area which we used for our dessert table, candy table, and gifts.

The staff was very very helpful during the planning. We had to bounce table numbers with them over and over and they were quite accommodating with it all the way to the day before the event. Figuring out seating arrangements was one of the hardest parts as we had to put groups together and had to split some. They have about 16 tables that can accommodate 12 guests and 9 tables that can accommodate 10 guests. So you can fit quite the amount of people there. The staff also fixed us up our own plates, one with salad and one with the main course that they put on the table for us by the time we got to our table so that was really helpful.

The food was really good when we went to the tasting. At the event, everyone commented on how the food was really good, especially the salmon. The beef was a little dry tho, but I think its because it sat there for a little waiting for me to devour it. Still good tho, but I wish I had time to sit and enjoy my food a bit more. Buffet style food so our guests could go back for 2nds and 3rds which a few did.

We brought in 12 handles of alcohol from Costco and a majority of our guests drink, so if you have a lot of drinkers I would recommend getting 2 bartenders because 1 is not enough.

Other than that everyone had a great time and no one wanted to leave at the scheduled time. The DJ ended up being able to play a few more songs before we had to shut it down and clean up. Which was super nice of the staff because they could have told us to shut it down at the hour, but they gave us a good amount of time afterwards.

We also had a security guard walking around outside the whole event so we knew our cars would be safe. Lastly there's a waterfall near the event which is great for photo shoots.

Pricing is really good, but make sure you book early because they fill up really fast.

Overall experience, my wife wishes we could throw another one because we had a blast. Waiting on pictures from the photographer since I couldn't take many pictures.
